Ya tenemos los primero detalles.
El título se lanzará en Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 y PS2 simultáneamente durante el verano y además se incluirán temas de GH Rocks the 80s.
En total se incluirán 48 grabaciones originales, con las características de último Guitar Hero (batería y micrófono incluidos), así como Music Studio, GHTunes y Rock Star Creator. También una característica exclusiva del nuevo GH: Metallica, el modo Expert+ para la batería.
